Participants of The Partner Institute Class of 2008 were pleasantly surprised to run into Olympic Gold Medalist, Michael Phelps, at Disney’s BoardWalk Resort during their first session in the program! Phelps graciously posed for a photo and proved that sports heroes really do go to Disney World after winning big!

Our workshops and programs- whether they were created by TGP or FranklinCovey - are geared for the adult learner. They always include proven principles, processes, and tools for success. Facilitators Who Thoroughly Understand the Accounting Industry

Facilitators of TGP’s workshops and programs do more than teach sessions and provide interim coaching. They have significant backgrounds and experience in accounting, accounting firm leadership, accounting marketing, organizational development, and adult learning as well as certifications in FranklinCovey content.
Rather than deliver sessions in an off-the-shelf format, our facilitators use examples, exercises, role plays, and case studies that focus specifically on real-world accounting industry issues, challenges, and concerns. Facilitators provide insights, awareness, and cutting-edge information in an energetic, motivational, entertaining, and professional manner. As a result, they help people develop their leadership, management and soft skills—and deliver results.

Results-Based Coaching

Results-based coaching is designed to help participants create measurable change over time. An ongoing alliance and regular interaction with a coach during the program helps participants move toward a vision, goals, and desires. Between program sessions, participants have time to apply their learning and implement their plans.

TGP’s coaches:

  • Ensure that principles of effectiveness are at the core of each Personal Practice Development Plan and each leadership development plan
  • Work with participants to help them apply principles and concepts to their unique situations in light of the firm’s overall strategy
  • Ensure that the coaching methodology, processes, and tools are applicable to the personal and professional needs of each participant

Empowered Learning Model™

TGP’s workshops and programs follow the Empowered Learning Model (ELM), FranklinCovey’s process for unbeatable performance improvement. The ELM is a process for designing and implementing training solutions and working sessions so that both knowledge and performance continue to improve long after the initiatives have been implemented.
