The Workshop Experience

Recognizing the need to serve the adult learner, TGP’s workshops and programs combine workshop facilitation with group discussion, real-world exercises, introspective activities, 360-degree surveys and profiles, reading, case studies, and on-the-job application exercises. Our workshops and programs are structured to help people feel secure and capable in the early stages. Participants will recognize that participation demonstrates, rather than threatens, leadership and competence. Our facilitators also recognize the importance of participants’ in-depth experience and help them convert it into a vehicle for learning. Participants are also given choices and a sense of control over the pace and depth of the process. Because participants engage as a “group,” a sense of community is developed. This can facilitate learning because people learn faster and more effectively if they feel support from others.
